After a dental-related health crisis changes the course of their lives, Anthony and TereZa Lolli investigate the rapidly growing world of biological dentistry. Meeting practitioners, researchers and patients across the globe, they explore the science, controversy and philosophy behind a movement built on one central belief: the mouth is not separate from the body.

Heal the Whole asks what “biological dentistry” actually means, why its practitioners challenge parts of conventional dental thinking, and whether a more integrated approach to oral health can withstand scientific scrutiny.
